God's faith is now Part 2

God's Faith Is Now Part 2

In the last blog we promised to show you what Moses did after talking with God about giving Israel water to drink and their live stock.

Num:20,7-11
  • And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
  • Take the rod, and gather thou the assembly together, thou, and Aaron thy brother, and speak ye unto the rock before their eyes; and it shall give forth his water, and thou shalt bring forth to them water out of the rock: so thou shalt give the congregation and their beasts drink.
  • And Moses took the rod from before the Lord, as he commanded him.
  • 10 And Moses and Aaron gathered the congregation together before the rock, and he said unto them, Hear now, ye rebels; must we fetch you water out of this rock?
  • 11 And Moses lifted up his hand, and with his rod he smote the rock twice: and the water came out abundantly, and the congregation drank, and their beasts also.
Look what God said to Moses
Because Moses hit the rock out of unbelief and not speak to it as God had instructed him, that act of disobedience kept him from entering into the promise land; although scripture let us know Moses will be in the Kingdom of God with Jesus and all the resurrected saints.

Num 20:12  And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron, Because ye believed me not, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore ye shall not bring this congregation into the land which I have given them. Disobedience has consequences attached to it.

Jesus never change; once he speak, his word is sure: settled in heaven. Ps:119-89
Heb: 13-8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday and today and forever.

Let’s take notice how he operated in the creation:  In Gen: first chapter see how God caused things to materialize or come forth in the beginning

    Gen: 1-3, 6,9,11

Watch how God released his faith, every time He spoke, it was so. If He had not said anything there would be nothing. And God said and it was, and God said and it was so. Can we plainly see this is a word world we live in. Nothing has changed since we have come into the new covenant; the principle is still the same.

Rom:4-17 He calleth those things that be not as though they were and they become. Jesus has empowered every person that is a believer in him to do the same thing.

Here are a few places in scripture of how God allowed men to look into the spirit and see the realness of it. This was done as an example to us that we might believe the world God live in is real and what he has for us now we can access it by faith.

In Matt: 16-28 Jesus made this statement:
v-28 Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.

Was Jesus saying, the disciples he was speaking to would not see death until he return with the kingdom? No; his disciples are in the grave waiting for the seventh trumpet to sound that will wake up all that died in Christ. Did Christ ever have a conversation with anyone in the grave, absolutely not!!! the dead no nothing.

Here Jesus transfigured himself and allowed his disciples to see in the spirit how he would look in the Kingdom as God and two of the prophets that would be there with him. Remember Moses and Elias are dead.

In Matt:17, 1-8 And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart,
And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.
And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him.
Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias.
While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.
And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore afraid.
And Jesus came and touched them, and said, Arise, and be not afraid.
And when they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no man, save Jesus only.

This story tell us about the King of Syria at war with Israel, and how God through the prophet saved them

    2 King: 6, 8-18

v-8 Then the king of Syria warred against Israel, and took counsel with his servants, saying, In such and such a place shall be my camp.
v-9 And the man of God sent unto the king of Israel, saying, Beware that thou pass not such a place; for thither the Syrians are come down.
v-10 And the king of Israel sent to the place which the man of God told him and warned him of, and saved himself there, not once nor twice.
v-11 Therefore the heart of the king of Syria was sore troubled for this thing; and he called his servants, and said unto them, Will ye not shew me which of us is for the king of Israel?
v-12 And one of his servants said, None, my lord, O king: but Elisha, the prophet that is in Israel, telleth the king of Israel the words that thou speakest in thy bedchamber.
v-13 And he said, Go and spy where he is, that I may send and fetch him. And it was told him, saying, Behold, he is in Dothan.
v-14 Therefore sent he thither horses, and chariots, and a great host: and they came by night, and compassed the city about.
v-15 And when the servant of the man of God was risen early, and gone forth, behold, an host compassed the city both with horses and chariots. And his servant said unto him, Alas, my master! how shall we do? He was afraid of the great army surrounding them.
v-16 And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them.
v-17 And Elisha prayed, and said, Lord, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the Lord opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.
v-18 And when they came down to him, Elisha prayed unto the Lord, and said, Smite this people, I pray thee, with blindness. And he smote them with blindness according to the word of Elisha.

Again we see where God opened the eyes of a man and let him see in the spirit the protection available to him by faith. Notice what the prophet did, he spoke words of faith and God honored them. Hear what he said:

Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them. So we see faith works the same today as it did yesterday just like the word say's; Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith. He is the same yesterday today and forever, he never changes neither does the principle of faith, faith is now.

(Dan:3,1-30) The Hebrew boys Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego did not fall down and worshipped the golden image Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.
(Esther:4-6) If I perish i'm going to see the King.
(Matt:15,21-28) Syrophoenician woman, Jesus said great is thy faith
(Lk:5,17-24) The man sick of palsy was healed when Jesus saw the faith of those men that brought him to the meeting.
